ANANGEL-AMERICAN RAISES $46 MILLION IN CAPITAL
Anangel-American Shipholdings Ltd., the dry bulk shipping
company listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange, has raised US$45.9 million through a rights
offering.
The company offered its shareholders the right to purchase one additional
share for every two shares held, at the price of $5.75 per share.
Anangel-American said that the transaction increased the capital available to
expand its fleet.
