IBM CORP. AWARDS MAERSK LOGISTICS THREE-YEAR CONTRACT
Maersk Logistics said Monday it has entered into a three-year contract with IBM Corp. to provide ocean freight forwarding services.
Under the contract Maersk Logistics, a unit of the A.P. Moller Group, will provide complete door-to-door services, including shipment visibility tools, to manage multiple IBM vendors' merchandise flows in the IBM supply chain.
The Copenhagen-based company has provided ocean forwarding services for IBM between Asia and North America and the North Atlantic for five years.
