California Maritime Academy plans security conference
A maritime security conference on the final stages of implementation of the International Ship and Port Facility Security code and the Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002 will be held in Vallejo, Calif. on May 16-18.
The California Maritime Academy and the Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy of St. Petersburg, Russia will host the conference.
Speakers will include former Secretary of Defense William J. Perry, and Rear Adm. Kevin J. Eldridge, 11th District Commander, U.S. Coast Guard.
