End of USSEC
The U.S. South Europe Conference will disband Feb. 13, when its two remaining member lines, Maersk Sealand and P&O Nedlloyd become the single entity Maersk Line.
Hapag-Lloyd was forced to withdraw from both the USSEC and Trans-Atlantic Conference Agreement, as part of a condition made by the European Commission before parent company TUI AG’s acquisition of CP Ships.
