“K” LINE TO PUT BIGGER SHIPS ON EUROPE/IBERIAN PENINSULA LINK
“K” Line said it plans to upgrade its North Europe/Iberian peninsula short-sea service, with larger, faster ships, in response to growth in the trade.
The carrier will replace existing ships with two newly built 868-TEU vessels, with service speeds of 18 knots and 150 reefer plugs each. The”Aurora” will be deployed in August and the”Margarita” will be deployed in early October.
The weekly fixed day service calls Lisbon, Leixoes, Felixstowe, Newcastle, Gothenburg, Aarhus, Bremerhavven, Rotterdam and Lisbon.
