Yellow Transportation offering new express air service
Yellow Transportation, a subsidiary of Yellow Roadway Corp., is launching a new service called Expedited Direct that will allow Yellow customers one-, two-, or three-day delivery service throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
Yellow said Expedited Direct is a new air service providing customers with a competitive, door-to-door, expedited air forwarding service.
'Expedited Direct will benefit our customers directly, allowing for a full-service provider to fulfill expedited air needs at a rate competitive with the air forwarder providers,' said James Welch, president and chief executive officer of Yellow Transportation. 'In addition the enhanced service will allow Yellow Transportation to meet customer demand for complete and affordable ground and air services, with an extensive Yellow service portfolio.'
