Intermarine, the Houston-based project and heavylift carrier, said it will offer regular service from the U.S. Gulf and East coasts to the Mediterranean and Persian Gulf.
“We are launching this regular service to the Mediterranean and Persian Gulf to provide a service that customers are demanding. They want customized, cost-effective shipping solutions to these parts of the world provided by a carrier that is focused on their needs,” said Claus Sorensen, Worldwide Chartering Manager.
Intermarine has a fleet of more than 45 vessels with lifting capacity up to 800 metric tons and “chartering personnel who are among the most experienced people in the industry,” said Alfred J.V. Stanley, president and chief executive officer.
The company operates the largest U.S. flag heavylift fleet and controls Industrial Terminals, the largest project cargo terminal in the United States.
