DANA CORP. SELECTS HELLMANN, SCHENKER TO HANDLE AUTOMOTIVE AIR FREIGHT
Dana Corp., in a plan to improve its air freight program, has reduced its number of service providers from more than 100 to two: Hellmann and Schenker.
Hellmann said Tuesday it was awarded about 75 percent of the overall business for Dana Corp., an independent supplier of components, modules and systems to global vehicle manufacturers. In 2000, Dana's air-freight business totaled $22 million.
Hellmann, based in Miami, said it will move about 700,000 tons of air cargo annually through its global logistics network for Dana.
