G6 to skip two Asia-Europe sailings

The G6 Alliance said it will cancel two sailings in early October as part of its vessel maintenance programme and in connection with the National Holiday in China.
The founding of China is celebrated on Oct. 1, and many businesses across the country are closed for seven days around that time.
Voided sailings will be made on the following two services:

  • Loop 7 service in week 41 (intended ETD Qingdao, Oct. 9).
  • EUM service in week 41 (intended ETD Pusan, Oct. 7).

The G6 Alliance members are APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai, MOL, NYK and OOCL. – Chris Dupin
