BAKIN STEPS DOWN FROM NIT LEAGUE BOARD
Thomas R. Bakin, manager of logistics and travel at Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Technologies, resigned his post as first vice president of the National Industrial Transportation League, citing budget restrictions at his firm.
Bakin, a 15-year veteran of the Arlington, Va.-based association, said he would stay on as an individual affiliate. He was in line to be NIT League’s chairman next year.
