NewAge Software & Solutions, a provider of enterprise applications for freight forwarding and logistics companies, has moved into the North American market, led by industry veterans Michael Sinclair and Charles Chute.
New Age was established in 2003 and currently has users in 36 countries, including forwarders, non-vessel-operating common carriers, consolidators, 3PLs, warehouse operators, and customs brokers.
NewAge’s ERP technology suite is designed to facilitate planning, execution, monitoring, and control of freight movements, as well as boost operational efficiency and productivity. The applications are offered via the Web, software-as-a-service, or a client hosted option. The database is built on Oracle; user interface is written in Java; and applications are on Amazon’s global network of secure servers.
“Companies today need innovative technology, precisely what NewAge offers to streamline processes, boost time and cost savings, and improve customer satisfaction,” said Sinclair, New Age’s North American president and a veteran of the large neutral NVO Vanguard. – Eric Johnson
