Mobile, Ala.-based ASF Intermodal has opened its 13th intermodal drayage terminal at Baltimore.
“Our customers have been asking us to expand into this market, so we are confident that there is great potential in Baltimore,” ASF Intermodal President Michael Smith said in a statement.
The Baltimore terminal, which will be managed by Gene Burgee, will start with three employees and about 30 drivers, but is expected to “expand rapidly,” Smith said.
The new facility joins ASF Intermodal terminals in Mobile, Houston, Atlanta, Charleston, Charlotte, Dallas, Fort Worth, Memphis, New Orleans, Norfolk, Savannah and Chicago.
