STINGO JOINS INLAND WATERWAYS USERS BOARD
Looman Stingo, senior vice president of logistics for Holcim (US) has been appointed to the board of the Inland Waterways Users Board.
The Inland Waterways Users Board is a federal advisory committee created in 1986 to advise Congress and the president on funding levels and priorities related to the nation’s inland waterway system.
Stingo joined Holcim, a large manufacturer and supplier of cement and mineral products, in 1997. Prior to that, he spent the past 23 years with Ethyl Corp. of Richmond, Va.
Stingo is also chairman of the Midwest Area River Coalition 2000 and a board member of both the National Waterways Conference and the National Industrial Transportation League.
