CEVA expands Midwest LCL frequency

CEVA Logistics on Monday said it has expanded the ancillary services to its less-than-containerload (LCL) ocean freight network in the U.S. Midwest.
CEVA augmented its LCL services in the U.S. Midwest by bringing all inbound consolidation containers into its own container freight station in Elk Grove Village, Ill., with onward distribution within the Midwest managed through CEVA’s road freight entity, CEVA Ground.
That will allow it to reach 10 Midwest inland-point-intermodal service locations overnight, doubling the prior service frequency and putting the cargo in the hands of customers up to four days faster, the company said.
