Office of Foreign Assets Control updates file of blocked persons
The U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), part of the Department of the Treasury, has amended its file of the names of individuals and entities subject to various U.S. economic sanctions programs.
The list includes “blocked persons,” “specially designated nationals,” “specially designated terrorists,” “specially designated global terrorists,” “foreign terrorist organizations,” and “specially designated narcotics traffickers,” according to an OFAC statement.
The new listing, which comprises 75 printed pages, reflects the latest adjustments for the Balkans, Libya, and Iraq. The entire file may be accessed http://a257.g.akamaitech.net/7/257/2422/14mar20010800/edocket.access.gpo.gov/2004/04-11710.htm. For further information, call (202) 622-2520.
