FMC REVOKES, REISSUES OTI LICENSES

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has revoked the ocean transportation intermediary licenses of seven firms for failure to maintain valid bonds.

   The firms are Adept International Forwarders of Valley Stream, N.Y.; Circle International in San Francisco; GTM Cargo & Logistics of Sunrise, Fla.; Hana Worldwide Shipping Co. of Torrance, Calif.; Martin Well & Hiland (USA) Inc. in Jamaica, N.Y.; Quality Freight International Services of Miami; and Trans-World Freight Systems in Miami.

   The agency reissued OTI licenses to Coda International of Parsippany, N.J.; TAT International in Flushing, N.Y.; Pacwest Transport in Torrance, Calif.; and Hanmi Shipping of Bensenville, Ill.

   The FMC received OTI applications to operate as non-vessel-operating common carriers from PDS Express of Bayonne, N.J., and ShipChem in Atlanta.
