Track reopens after Norfolk Southern train derails in Virginia

A Norfolk Southern train hauling vehicles and intermodal cargo from Lousiville, Ky., to Norfolk, Va., derailed Monday.
A dozen autorack cars and two double-stack intermodal rail cars traveling to Norfolk went off the track in Wytheville, which is about 80 miles southwest of Roanoke, on Monday evening.
Late Tuesday, the track reopened. Company spokesman Robin Chapman said there were no injuries or hazardous material spilled. He said about a dozen trains travel the route each day.
