American Airlines raises fuel surcharge
American Airlines Cargo division is increasing its fuel surcharge from 35 cents per kilogram to 40 cents per kilogram for most U.S.-origin international shipments and from 14 cents per pound to 16 cents per pound for U.S. domestic shipments, effective April 6.
The fuel surcharge also will be adjusted, in local currency, for most non-U.S.-origin shipments, unless the adjustment is not allowed for regulatory reasons, American said.
