LYKES RENAMES CCAL SHIPS
Lykes Lines is renaming three multi-purpose ships added to its fleet when it acquired niche U.S./Africa carrier Christensen Canadian Africa Line earlier this year.
The Thorshope has been renamed the Lykes Winner; the Thorsriver will be named the Lykes Energizer; and the Thorslake will become the Lykes Inspirer.
Each of the vessels has a capacity of 16,000 tons and 692 TEUs.
The U.S./Africa service operates under the Lykes name.
