CP Ships adds Lykes to Europe/Indian subcontinent service
CP Ships has added its subsidiary Lykes Lines to a joint North Europe/Mediterranean/Indian Subcontinent.weekly service of another of its carriers, Contship Containerlines. The “EPIC 3” service is operated jointly by Contship, CMA CGM and P&O Nedlloyd.
Lykes’ involvement on the “EPIC 3” service also marks its entry into the trade.
The “EPIC 3” service uses seven ships of about 3,500 TEUs, and has a port rotation of Tilbury, Hamburg, Antwerp, Malta, Port Said, Jeddah, Jebel Ali, Karachi, Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Port Said, Malta and back to Tilbury.
