COSCO, YANGMING, “K” LINE FINALIZE NEW ASIA/U.S. EAST COAST SERVICE
COSCO Container Lines, Yangming Marine and Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd. have released details for their new Asia/U.S. East Coast “AEX” service.
The weekly all-water service commences when the “Yuguhe” sails from Shanghai on April 24. The vessel is scheduled to arrive in New York on May 24.
The AEX service provides a transit time from Hong Kong to New York of 26 days. The New York-to-Hong Kong transit is 35 days.
Vessels averaging 3,300 TEUs in capacity are deployed on the “AEX”, with COSCO contributing five ships, and Yangming and “K” Line operating two each.
The port rotation of the “AEX” is New York, Norfolk, Charleston, Tokyo, Kobe, Shanghai, Yantian, Hong Kong, New York, Norfolk and Charleston.
