Executive Moves: ABC, KCS and GES

ABC appoints VP in Europe and KCS names marketing chief, while GES announces new chief commercial officer.

   AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has appointed Georges Biwer vice president of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Biwer has more than 24 years of experience in the air cargo industry and will focus on growing ABC’s scheduled cargo operations in Europe and new markets in the Middle East and Africa.

   Kansas City Southern (KCS) has named Brian D. Hancock executive vice president and chief marketing officer. He previously was vice president of global supply chain at Whirlpool Corp. He also held logistics management positions at Schneider National, The Martin-Brower Co., and Family Dollar Stores.

   Globe Express Services has appointed Poonam Datta chief commercial officer. Prior to joining GES, she held a similar position at a regional port and logistics service provider. Datta was also the founder and chief executive officer of Dubai-based International Management Consultants, and has held management positions at Maersk Line, Safmarine and Maersk Logistics in the Middle East.
