Cathay Pacific to launch Hong Kong to Dallas, Atlanta freighter services
Cathay Pacific Airways said today it is adding Dallas and Atlanta to its U.S. cargo network when it starts a Hong Kong to Dallas and Atlanta freighter service Nov. 19.
The new service will use a Boeing 747-400 freighter aircraft departing three times a week from Hong Kong, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, stopping first in Dallas and continuing to Atlanta.
Cathay Pacific said it is starting the service to meet growing demand in the United States for exports shipped through Hong Kong.
Following the start of the new service, Cathay Pacific will operate 21 scheduled freight services per week to six U.S. cities, which includes Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.
