WALLENIUS WILHELMSEN LINSE CHARTERS SPACE IN U.S./AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND TRADE
Wallenius Wilhelmsen Lines plans to charter space from Contship Containerlines in the trade from the United States Atlantic and Gulf coasts to Australia and New Zealand.
The carriers have filed an agreement with the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission for the proposed space charter.
Contship Containerlines operates a U.S./Australasia service as part of a recently-upgraded joint round-the-world operation with P&O Nedlloyd, CMA CGM, Columbus Line and Marfret, called the Westabout service.
