SEAMENÆS CHURCH APPOINTS SMITH EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Seamen’s Church Institute of New York and New Jersey’s board of trustees has appointed the Rev. Dr. Jean Smith as executive director, after accepting the resignation of the Rev. Canon Peter Larom.
Smith was the institute’s managing director and chief operating officer, as well as director of the its Center for Seafarers’ Services.
Larom served as executive director for 10 years.
