MAERSK SEALAND AND CAGEMA PLAN CARIBBEAN COOPERATION
Maersk Sealand and Cagema, the niche U.S./Caribbean carrier owned by CMA CGM, plan to cooperate in the trade between ports in Florida and the Caribbean.
The two companies have notified a proposed space charter agreement to the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission.
Under the proposed pact, the two shipping lines will share vessels and charter space on each other’s vessel in the trade between ports in Florida and the Caribbean.
