RoadOne IntermodaLogistics names VP of Northeast sales, while BestTransport.com appoints president.
RoadOne IntermodaLogistics has appointed Robert Walther vice president of sales for the Northeast. Walther, a 25-year industry veteran, was most recently Schneider’s Northeast port logistics sales director. At RoadOne, he will be responsible for port drayage, dedicated fleet management, container terminal sales, trans-loading, warehousing and contract logistics sales.
BestTransport.com has formed a Corporate Services Group to provide consultative and management services to shippers and has named Reo B. Hatfield president. Hatfield, a 35-year-plus logistics industry veteran, was vice president at the former Smiths Transfer. He left Smiths after it was sold and founded Reo Distribution Services, which provides warehousing, distribution and third-party logistics management services.
