The airline group added 26 new stations in Europe via its Vueling network, intended to open export business to companies in Europe’s smaller, provincial airports in addition to larger European hubs.

With the addition of these new stations, IAG Cargo’s network now incorporates a total of 128 European stations.
The added stations, which include airports such as – the Thessaloniki Airport in Greece, the Stavanger Airport in Norway, the Nice Côte d’Azur in France, the Helsinki Airport in Finland, the Düsseldorf Airport in Germany and the Budapest Airport in Hungary – enable 350 potential routings for customers.
“We have opened new stations across Europe where we see a real commercial need,” IAG Cargo Regional Commercial Manager for Europe Chris Nielen said in a statement. “As well as bringing new capacity to markets which need it, our new stations help support a diverse cargo region with a number of specialist solutions, including our time-definite service, EuroConnector.”
EuroConnector is a service that allows businesses to ship goods under 300 kilos in and out of and throughout Europe within either 24 or 48 hours. IAG Cargo initially launched the time definite option last year to convince shippers that use trucking networks to move over to narrow-body aircraft.
