NIELSEN APPOINTED EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF A.P. MOLLER GROUP
J'rn Steen Nielsen has been appointed executive vice president of A.P. Moller, the parent company of Maersk Sealand, Maersk Logistics, Maersk Broker and numerous other shipping and trading companies.
Nielsen is responsible for the Maersk Broker organization worldwide. Maersk Broker comprises global shipbroking activities within chartering, sale and purchase, contracting of new ships, project broking, and ship agency.
Within A.P. Moller, Nielsen has also worked for Maersk Tankers, the Maersk Bulk activities and Maersk Supply Service.
