FMC REVOKES LICENSES FOR 15 OTIs
The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission said it has revoked 15 ocean transportation intermediary licenses.
These OTIs lost their licenses for failure to maintain a valid bond: Aimar USA Inc., Medley, Fla.; Ameripak Services Inc., Miami; APC World Freight Services, So. Francisco, Calif.; Cross Trans Service USA Inc., Elk Grove Village, Ill.; D.S.C.V. Transport Inc., Lorton, Va.; Hanover Navigation Ltd., San Francisco; Itochu Express America Inc., New York; Pacon Express Inc., Carson, Calif.; RMG International Inc., Houston; and J&M Shipping, Brea, Calif.
These OTIs surrendered their licenses voluntarily: Bulkmatic Transport Co., Griffith, Ind.; Flagship Container & Distribution Inc., Saugus, Calif.; Glory Harbor International Inc., Orange, Calif.; Royal Sales & Shipping, Los Angeles; and Total Transport International Corp., Inglewood, Calif.
The FMC also reissued three licenses, to Eagle Transportation Services Inc., Gainesville, Ga.; Freight Connections International Ltd., Homewood, Ill.; and Mid Cities Motor Freight Inc., St. Joseph, Mo.
