Portland loses New World Alliance service
The port of Portland, Ore.; is losing a major weekly transpacific service from the New World Alliance members, APL, Hyundai Merchant Marine and MOL.
The vessel “Hyundai Admiral” will make the last call at Portland on the “PNW” service when it departs on Sept. 16.
The “PNW” service uses five Hyundai-operated ships of 4,111 TEUs and will have a revised port rotation of Kaohsiung; Hong Kong; Shanghai; Busan; Nagoya; Tokyo; Tacoma, Wash.; Seattle, Wash.; Vancouver, B.C.; Busan; Kwangyang; Kaohsiung; Hong Kong and Shanghai.
