MOL opens first logistics subsidiary in China
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines today announced the start of operations by MOL Consolidation Service Ltd., its first wholly owned logistics subsidiary in China.
The new subsidiary will handle MOL’s ocean consolidation business.
Following new legislation in China in December 2005 that allowed the establishment of international logistics companies wholly owned by foreign interests, the Japanese carrier said it wanted to focus on its ocean consolidation business in China.
