CF NAMES VP-CONTROLLER, VP-TREASURER
Consolidated Freightways, the Vancouver, Wash.-based less-than-truckload carrier, has promoted James R. Tener to vice president-controller and has named Kerry Morgan vice president-treasurer.
Tener is responsible for management and financial accounting functions, as well as accounts payable and payroll departments.
He has been with CF since 1989, serving most recently as director of financial accounting.
Morgan started with CF in 1986 and was named controller for CF Ocean Service, a company subsidiary, in 1988.
He spent about five years as audit manager of Emery Worldwide before being named CF's directory of treasury and planning in 1996.
