Norway Post buys multisort system
FKI Logistex, a manufacturer of conveyor belts and other automated material handling systems, said it won a $20 million contract from Norway Post to install seven mail sortation systems throughout the country.
The systems have the unique ability to sort flat envelopes, letters, packages and irregular mail from several feeder lines at once compared to other systems that require multiple sorters for each task, according to the Frederick, Md.-based company.
