MED/U.S. WEST COAST CONFERENCE STARTS CHASSIS CHARGE
The Med Pac Conference, a carrier group in the Mediterranean/U.S. West Coast trade, is the latest conference to have announced the introduction of a chassis usage charge in the U.S.
The conference said that it will introduce the charge, set a $60 per chassis, at U.S. West Coast ports on March 15.
The carriers of the Med Pac Conference are Italia/D’Amico and Zim Israel Navigation.
