NEW WORLD ALLIANCE ADDS TEMPORARY MIAMI TO ASIA SERVICE
The New World Alliance has temporarily altered the schedule of its U.S. East Coast/Asia “ECS” service to include an additional loading call, westbound, at Miami.
This change has been made to accommodate the peak of the grapefruit export season, said Mitsui O.S.K. Lines.
The Miami calls will begin with the “Sinaloa,” arriving and departing on Friday Jan. 28, and then continue every following Friday until around early April, the carrier said.
The members of the New World Alliance are Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, APL and Hyundai Merchant Marine.
