MOL, P&O Nedlloyd add Shanghai to Asia/Africa service
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and P&O Nedlloyd are adding a call at Shanghai to their joint Asia/Africa service.
The service, known as “WA1” or “Waccon,” will extend its Asia coverage by turning around in Shanghai instead of Hong Kong. The revised service will commence with the sailing of the “P&O Nedlloyd Singapore” from Shanghai on Feb. 11.
The extended service will have a port rotation of Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Durban, Lome, Lagos, Lome, Tema, Abidjan, Durban, Colombo, Singapore and Shanghai.
With this upgrade, MOL said it will provide stable, reliable service between Shanghai and South Africa/West Africa.
