“K” LINE’S SAKINAGA TO SUCCEED SHINTANI AS PRESIDENT
Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha has appointed executive vice president Yasuhide Sakinaga as “K” Line’s next president from April 1.
He will succeed Isao Shintani, 64, who has been president since 1994, and who will then become chairman.
Sakinaga, 60, graduated in law in 1962 and is a lifelong “K” Line employee.
The position of president is traditionally the most senior executive job within Japanese shipping companies.
