INTTRA links up with Russian forwarder

INTTRA, a global electronic commerce platform for ocean freight, said Sunday it has increased its presence in Eastern Europe and Russia through a recently announced link with the forwarding agency Soyuzkhimtrans International Ltd.

INTTRA, which processes about 61 percent of the ocean freight capacity among the world’s top carriers, said in a release that it is now connected to one of the top freight forwarders in Russia.

“SKT Int. is a key player for the continued growth of e-commerce throughout the region,” said Annette Molin, regional sales director for INTTRA’s European region, in a statement. “They are a leading freight forwarder for the chemical industry as well as having an increasing role for wood, metals and other products.”
