COSCO, P&O Nedlloyd give funds, free services for tsunami relief
The China Ocean Shipping Co. group said it has donated 10 million yuan ($1.2 million) to the Red Cross Society of China and offers emergency seaborne transportation support to aid relief needed as a result of the Asian tsunami disaster.
P&O Nedlloyd said it made a cash donation of $100,000 towards the relief effort, and will provide freight free shipments to organizations requiring assistance.
