French liner carrier CMA CGM said it will launch a second service between the United States and Australia/New Zealand.
The so-called PAD 2 service will start March 4 and complement the existing fortnightly PAD 1 service.
The carrier said the new string will allow it to offer weekly service between Australia and New Zealand and Central America, South America, the Caribbean, and North America.
The PAD 2 rotation includes Philadelphia, Charleston, Cartagena, Balboa, Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Port Chalmers, Napier, Tauranga, Auckland, Manzanillo (Panama), Cartagena, and Philadelphia.
