P&O NEDLLOYD ACQUIRES EAST AFRICAN SERVICE FROM HARRISON
P&O Nedlloyd has acquired the share of Harrison Line in their
joint Europe/East Africa container service.
From the end of this month, Liverpool-based Harrison Line is
withdrawing from the Europe/East Africa trade.
Harrison had a share of 5 percent in the East Africa Container
Container Service, a joint operation with P&O Nedlloyd, Ellerman, Safmarine, WEC,
Stinnes and Mediterranean Shipping Co.
Two years ago, Harrison also sold its participation in the Ellerman
Harrison Container Line joint company, active in the Europe/South Africa trade, to P&O
Nedlloyd.
