Port of Portland to sell land for Asian specialty food DC
The Port of Portland Commission on Wednesday approved a 2.29-acre sale to Lee Land Company LLC., a real estate holding company of Chin’s Import Export Co., Inc.
Chin’s Import Export plans to build a 25,000-square-foot building on the site to serve as a warehouse and office for their Asian specialty food distribution business, employing 20 people at the site.
The Port of Portland is the largest developer of industrial and business parks in the Portland metropolitan area. Within its 10,000 acres of property holdings, the port oversees six business and industrial parks. The port will sell the property, located on North Rivergate Boulevard in the Rivergate Industrial District, for $497,735.
