FMC RECEIVES OTI APPLICATIONS

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 13 ocean transportation intermediaries.

   The agency received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Empire Container Line of Toms River, N.J.; Multi-Link Container Line in Elmhurst, N.Y.; MCL-Multi Container Line in Dublin, Calif.; and Sea-Line Cargo of New York.

   The FMC received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Uni Logistics of Inglewood Calif.; Washington Movers in Lorton, Va.; U.S. Sea Wave Express in Torrance, Calif.; Seaspeed Overseas Shipping Co. of Bayonne, N.J.; Japan Star America in Carson, Calif.; Nationwide Forwarding of Montville, N.J.; Wice Logistics USA in Jamaica, N.Y.; and Trans Pacific Logistics of Inglewood, Calif.

   An ocean freight forwarder license application was received from Actionfreight International of Inglewood, Calif.

   Persons knowing of any reason why the following applicants should not receive their licenses are asked to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington.
