HUNTER, ALLEN TO LEAD HOUSE MERCHANT MARINE PANEL
Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., will chair the Merchant Marine Panel of the House Armed Services Committee, and Rep. Tom Allen, D-Maine, will be the panel’s ranking Democratic member.
The panel is responsible for drafting legislation, as well as overseeing funding for the Maritime Administration and the nation’s maritime schools.
