A.P. Moller-Maersk first to gain group-wide C-TPAT validation
The A.P. Moller-Maersk group of companies said that it has become the first to achieve “enterprise-wide” Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism validation from the U.S. Bureau of Customs and Border Protection.
The validation processs combined liner, logistics, terminal operations and trucking functions undertaken in the U.S., Europe and Indonesia.
In North America, the validation covered 180 Maersk Sealand offices, 37 trucking centers and 13 APM Terminals facilities.
