Inforwarding, GF-X sign co-op deal
Inforwarding and GF-X have signed a cooperation agreement enabling users of Inforwarding’s Air Freight Rates database (AFRA) to link directly to GF-X’s air cargo booking system.
“Inforwarding customers will benefit by no longer having to rekey information into different systems, ensuring consistency of rating information and enabling them to complete their booking with GF-X carriers in a single streamlined process,” Inforwarding said in a statement.
“Working with GF-X will allow us to extend our current services by enabling AFRA users to take advantage of booking with GF-X’s over 60 airlines,” said Dirk de Rooij, director of Inforwarding and one of the co-creators of AFRA.
“Through continued collaboration with Inforwarding we look forward to bringing added benefit to GF-X customers and the industry,” said Demetrios Zoppos, managing director of GF-X.
Inforwarding was acquired by United Kingdom-based OAG Worldwide in January 2005.
