HANJIN TAKES SPACE ON COSCO’S CHINA/NORTH EUROPE SERVICE
At the end of this month, Hanjin Shipping will join the weekly Asia/north Europe “CEU” service of fellow CKYHS alliance members COSCO Container Lines, “K” Line and Yang Ming.
Hanjin will market the service as “CNE” and will start taking slots on Sept. 29, when the vessel “COSCO Singapore” will depart from Dalian.
The “CEU” service uses eight COSCO vessels averaging 5,350 TEUs. It has a port rotation of Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dalian, Qingdao, Xiamen, Yantian, Hong Kong, Singapore and back to Felixstowe.
According to ComPairData the global liner shipping database on the Internet at www.compairdata.com, Hanjin will have eight weekly services in the Asia/north Europe/Mediterranean trade following the commencement of the new “CEU” service.
