CON-WAY NAMES SCHEWCHUK TOP SECURITY MANAGER

   Con-Way Transportation Services has appointed Curtis Schewchuk to director of corporate protective services, a newly created position within the company.

   Schewcuk will manage a team of security personnel that are assigned to protect Con-Way’s employees, facilities, equipment and customer freight. He will also oversee Con-Way’s domestic and international security policies and procedures. In addition, Schewchuk will head corporate security and loss prevention programs, and risk management and contingency planning.

   Prior to his appointment, Schewchuk spent 12 years in security management at Portland, Ore.-based CNF.
