Maritime services provider Inchcape Shipping Services announced a strike scheduled at the Port of Necochea, Argentina for July 10, July 16 and July 17 has been lifted and suspended for 15 days.
A pay-related strike at the Port of Necochea, Argentina scheduled for July 10, July 16 and July 17, has been lifted and suspended for 15 days, Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) said in a statement.
Last week, American Shipper reported on the potential ‘pen down’ strike by customs workers at the port, where employees would attend work but would not perform their job duties.
ISS Argentina said it will continue to monitor developments on the potential strike and will keep clients updated.
